Wood burning stoves? burning coal? - wood and coal burning stoves

Well, my parents want to buy a small wood stove for an extension of our house, buy, trying to walk an electrical Ttél, but not too. A small wood stove was thats a good price. My question is, can a wood burning stove also burns coal as well? Thanks

Yes, you can ... Most wood stoves are made of cast iron, so that they can to the extreme temperatures of coal ... Do not try to burn a lot of pine in the stove and chimney blocks juice can cause a fire.

Some can, others do not. If he says that on the stove, check with the manufacturer. Coal burning hotter than wood.
